Designing and Evaluating a Telerheumatology Curriculum: A Scholarly Approach
Dr. Zickuhr’s research project focuses on shared decision making among patients and their providers in the virtual care environment. Dr. Zickuhr will first identify best practices and then use that information to create a curriculum for rheumatology trainees.
“My Clinician Scholar Educator Award project will improve communication between patients and providers, hopefully enhancing the patient-centered approach that rheumatologists want to provide their patients, encouraging empathy and improving medical adherence in the process.”
